The renovated Kourkoulios Villa has retained many of the characteristics of the old house; the thick walls keep the heat out of the house, the kitchen has replaced the old oven and the master bedroom is exactly like the old one. The house was decorated by the owners with great care. Actually, most of the ornaments of the house are made by the owners, who used materials from the old house, enhancing the traditional style of the house.
At the ground floor of the villa there are the living room, the dining area, the kitchen and a wc. The first floor consists of the master bedroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed and a bathroom. A balcony offers a beautiful panoramic view over the country. There is an independent studio attached to the main house – the old stable. It consists of two single beds, a kitchen equipped with the main equipment and a bathroom.
Kourkoulios Villa is a traditional villa located in the hamlet of Hambatha, in the beautiful Apokoronas Province. The seaside resort of Georgioupolis is just 6km away from the villa. Hambatha is a small village, situated in the foothills of the mountains, without amenities; At Maza village, 800m from the villa there is a traditional tavern where you can taste homemade Cretan dishes. The villa is built on the slope of a mountain, offering a panoramic view of the green landscape. The trim garden is plenty of colorful flowers and herbs. The private pool and the area around it are perfect places for relaxation, enjoying the hot sun and the tranquility of the area. Next to the barbecue there is a romantic covered area with a wooden outdoor dining set.
